Learn Valuation & Corporate Finance from my notes on Prof. Aswath Damodaran virtual classes of Summer 2023.
During class noting process, I will further read into the small cases & examples Prof brought up & link them for more context to enrich the notes.
Each 1 hour plus class has taken me an average of 5 hours to produce the notes onto this Substack. The lecture, together with Googling up the examples prof brought up has definitely helped in strengthening the theories with real world application.
For e.g. Disney was often brought up in the class.
A bit of the process.
My first objective in note taking is to strive for accuracy from the lectures, then linking on external sources on cases that was brought up. Lastly, to add very little of my own experience & prior understanding to give a full primer on the class notes.
I sometimes re-do the spreadsheets so you can get a better understanding of the concept, & for me to practice as well. These additional files are usually at the bottom of the class notes, in addition to the source video & notes.
I hope you find these notes useful & hence subscribe to be the first in the know when these notes are release. My current target is to have 1 note per week. Work caught up, I’ll strive to have at least 1 update per month.

The last para from above intro post:
Time value of money is often quoted in valuation. Have you heard of time value of time? That’s right. The value of your time today is worth more than your time in the future. Taking a plunge in whatever, you want to do today, physically or metaphorically has less risk doing it today, then in 2, 5 or 10-years’ time.
Time is Undiscounted
